Terms of Service
Effective April 8, 2026
1. Acceptance
By creating an account or using Fire Invoice, you agree to these Terms of Service. You must be of legal age to enter contracts in your jurisdiction to use this service.
2. What Fire Invoice is
Fire Invoice is a software tool that helps you create, send, and track invoices. It is not a bank, payment processor, financial institution, or money transmitter. We do not hold, transmit, or control funds. All payments occur directly between wallets via the MobileCoin network. We have no visibility into or control over MobileCoin transactions.
3. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You may not use Fire Invoice for any unlawful purpose.
4. Your data
You own your data. We process it solely to deliver the service. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your information.
5. Payments and exchange rates
Exchange rates displayed on invoices are fetched from third-party sources (CoinGecko) and are provided for informational convenience only. They are not guaranteed to be accurate or current. Fire Invoice makes no representation about the value of MobileCoin or any fiat currency. You are solely responsible for any financial decisions made based on rates displayed by the service.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use Fire Invoice to:
- Invoice for illegal goods or services
- Harass, defraud, or deceive invoice recipients
- Impersonate another person or business
- Circumvent any technical security measures
- Use the service in any way that violates applicable law
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Service availability
We provide Fire Invoice on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not liable for any loss resulting from downtime or service interruptions.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fire and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of or inability to use Fire Invoice.
Our total liability for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fire and its operators from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
10. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Upon termination, your data is deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
11. Changes to these terms
We will notify you of material changes by email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of San Francisco County, California.
